The Vice President, All Pakistan Paper Merchants Association (APPMA) and founder of Kite Flying Festival in Pakistan Khawaja Nadeem Saeed Wayeen, has appealed to the Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif to establish Kite City/Kite Flying Zone out of city.

In a statement issued here on Monday, Khawaja Nadeem Saeed Wayeen said that proposed Kite City/Kite Flying Zone would not only play a significant role in strengthening the crawling tourism industry but arrival of thousands foreign tourists would also help improve the soft image of Punjab.

He said that unlike the federal government, Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif was doing untiring efforts to promote trade, industry and economic activities in the province. "It is need of the hour that the international community should aware about the efforts being done by the Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif and proposed Kite City/Kite Flying Zone could play a vital role to this regard" he said.
